About Charlene
Charlene believes every person has an inherent capacity for healing that can be nurtured through empathetic guidance and personalized support. She creates a safe, non-judgmental space where trust is built at your pace, and you share what you want, when you're ready.
She has extensive experience helping children, teens, adults, and couples in crisis, including survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence. Her toolkit is wide: EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, solution-focused and family systems work, Polyvagal Theory, and sand, art, and play therapy for younger clients.

How do I book an appointment with Charlene?
Use the appointment request form with Charlene pre-selected, or call 208-479-1116. We reply within one business day. Charlene also offers a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can ask questions first.
Does Charlene take insurance?
Yes. Treasure Valley Mental Health accepts most major plans, including Idaho Medicaid, with TriCare as the one exception. Tell us your insurer when you reach out and we'll verify coverage. See fees and insurance.
Can I see Charlene online?
Yes. Charlene meets clients in person at our office at 6126 W. State Street in Boise, and by telehealth anywhere in Idaho.
